Men’s Ministry

Sharing Christ on the journey of life!

"You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is Christ Jesus. And the things that you have learned from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also"

II Timothy 2:1-2

The men of Stanwood Community Church have been called to the discipleship of other men through life relationships. "Guarding the heart" is not solely a personal endeavor but one of mutual Christian brotherhood. We stand shoulder to shoulder with other men to secure and maintain our integrity and honor before Christ.

We encourage every man to seek these three relationships in his life.

  • You need a "Paul" in your life, an older man to be a spiritual mentor, a trusted man from whom you can seek advice and spiritual direction.

  • You need a "Barnabas", a peer which you share the journey of life with. An accountability partner who cheers, challenges, and admonishes.

  • You need a "Timothy", a younger man you are spiritually investing in and building him up in Christ.

Check the church calendar for event details. Some of the plans currently on the table are:

  • Morning Breakfast Gatherings

  • Service Projects

  • Men's Weekend Retreat
